Description
When the United States entered into World War II, the Toledo Chapter of the Red Cross Association brought the Gray Lady Corps into Mercy Hospital. Led by Margaret Waite, the Gray Lady Corps provided non-medical services to patients as volunteers during World War II and were withdrawn by 1946.
